// 01 · What you get

What you will get from this quote

In brief: One request, multiple carriers, and clear next steps. We can quote and structure the common contractor policies.

We can typically help you quote and structure the common contractor policies, including:

If you need bid compliance support, we also help with COIs and common endorsements (Additional Insured, Primary and Noncontributory, Waiver of Subrogation).

// 02 · After you submit

What happens after you submit

In brief: We confirm what you do, shop carriers, then come back with options and next steps.
  • We review and confirm details. If something affects underwriting (job types, subs, vehicles, claim details), we may ask one or two quick follow-ups.
  • We shop multiple carriers. As an independent broker, we compare options instead of forcing a one-carrier answer.
  • We return recommended options. You get coverage guidance, the expected requirements, and what we need to bind.

Response expectations: many requests can move the same business day when the form is complete. Complex operations, unusual exposures, or endorsement-heavy requests can take longer.

// 03 · Bid deadline

No policy yet but a GC wants a COI? That is our specialty

In brief: A COI requires an active policy. We quote General Liability fast, bind once you approve, and issue the certificate right after, the same business day when the form is complete.

Many of the contractors who call us with a COI deadline do not have the policy yet. The fix is a fast GL bind: complete quote requests often move the same business day, and the COI is issued right after binding. Submit this quote form and select Today under bid deadline so we route it first.

If you are an existing client, use the fast lane: request a COI with the certificate holder, job, limits, and any required wording.

FAQs about getting a quote

How fast can I get a contractor insurance quote?
Often the same business day once we have complete basics. Carrier underwriting and the complexity of your operation can extend it.
Can you issue a COI the same day I buy a policy?
Yes. Once General Liability is bound we can issue the certificate immediately, and binding can be same day for straightforward CA and TX trades when the application is complete. If a GC gave you a deadline, tell us in the form and we route it first.
What is the minimum information you need to start?
Trade, state, contact info, what you need help with, and your effective date. For pricing we also need revenue, payroll, subcontractor use, and claims history.
Can you help if my GC requires Additional Insured and Primary and Noncontributory?
Yes. Include the requirement wording or upload the bid packet page so we can request the right endorsements.
Is a COI the same as an endorsement?
No. A COI is proof of coverage. Many requirements must be granted by endorsement.
Do you only quote roofing, general contractors, and plumbing contractors?
Those are the initial focus trades. If you are adjacent, submit the form and we will confirm whether we can help.
Do you guarantee approval or the lowest rate?
No. Underwriting and pricing are carrier-driven. We focus on fit, clarity, and compliance support.
Do you provide legal advice on contract requirements?
No. Requirements vary by contract, project, and carrier. We can explain insurance terms and help you request common endorsements.

This is general information, not legal advice. Coverage, eligibility, policy forms, endorsements, and pricing vary by carrier and underwriting approval. Specific contract language and bid packet requirements should be reviewed with your broker before binding.
