ContractorsInsured.net is an independent insurance broker for contractors serving California and Texas. Use this page to pick your state and metro area, then choose your trade and the policy you need. We shop multiple carriers where available and help contractors meet bid and compliance requirements, including COIs and common endorsements. If you need coverage or documents quickly, start with Get a Quote or Request a COI (existing clients).

Where we serve

We serve contractors across California and Texas, and we do not claim offices we do not have.

You will see language like “serving {metro} and surrounding areas” on metro pages. That is intentional. Coverage availability and turnaround depend on your trade, operations, and carrier underwriting rules.

Choose your state

Start with your state hub to find metros, trade pages, and state-level “money pages” by trade and policy.

California metros we serve

Pick the metro closest to where you’re bidding or operating so we can match common compliance workflows and job types.

Texas metros we serve

Choose your metro to find location-specific pages by trade and policy, plus local bid and compliance patterns.

What you’ll find on state and metro pages

Location pages are built to route you to the right trade and policy content without cannibalizing intent.

On location pages you can quickly navigate to:

  • Trade hubs: Roofing contractors, general contractors, plumbing contractors
  • Policy pillars: General liability, workers’ comp (including ghost where applicable), commercial auto, and more
  • Compliance help: COIs and common endorsements (Additional Insured, Primary and Noncontributory, Waiver of Subrogation), plus audits and subcontractor compliance

Helpful starting points:

Need documents fast? COI and endorsement routing

If you are already a client, Request a COI is the fastest path. If you are not, start with Get a Quote.

Fast quote checklist

If you can share the basics below, we can usually move faster and reduce underwriting back-and-forth.

Have this ready:

  • Trade (roofing, general contractor, plumbing)
  • State and metro (where you’re operating/bidding)
  • Years in business
  • Revenue range and payroll range
  • Subcontractor usage and rough percent
  • Claims in the last 3–5 years (yes/no + short details)
  • If a GC has requirements: upload the requirement page or paste the endorsement wording

FAQs

Do you have local offices in every metro listed?
No. We do not make fake local office claims. We serve contractors in each listed metro and surrounding areas.

Can you help outside California and Texas?
California and Texas are the initial focus. If you operate elsewhere, submit a quote request and we will confirm whether we can support your state based on licensing and carrier options.

Which trades do you focus on?
Roofing contractors, general contractors, and plumbing contractors are the initial focus trades.

Is a COI the same as an endorsement?
No. A COI is proof of coverage and limits at a point in time. Many requirements are granted by endorsement when available and approved.

How fast can I get a quote or a COI?
Timing depends on completeness and carrier underwriting. COIs are fastest when the request is complete; endorsements can add time due to carrier review.

What’s the best page to start on?
If you want coverage options, start with Get a Quote. If you are an existing client needing job documents, start with Request a COI. If you are researching, start with your state or metro page and then choose your trade.
